The certification marks the conclusion of more than five years’ research and development into their Train Control Centre (TCC) System and Temporary Speed Restriction Server (TSRS), which then underwent a rigorous certification process from our assessors
A ceremony was then hosted by Microunion’s senior management team, during which Michael Newman, Ricardo’s General Manager for rail services in Asia, presented two certificates to Vice General Manager, Mr Feng.
Microunion has previously applied its Railway Interlocking Systems to rail stations across China, and has more recently begun providing technologies for the country’s expanding urban metro market. In 2008, for example, it undertook the development of the interlocking system for Chongqing Monorail Line 3.
The team are now looking to build on their domestic success by taking their signalling products into international markets.
The ceremony was followed by a tour of Microunion laboratory facilities.
