Philip Beirne, Ricardo STEM ambassador, supported 60 Children from two primary schools in the North West of England, who took part in the Lego Junior Aqua Adventure challenge over 12 weeks.  They worked in teams of 6 learning about the water cycle and devising new ideas to improve it, from toilet flushing to sink traps.

As part of the project boys and girls aged 7-8, built a demonstration model with a moving pump, from Lego controlled by a software programme.

On 20th June 2018 at a “show and tell” event at the University of Central Lancashire they presented their ideas and models to IET and UCLAN staff.
