Scott joins Ricardo from Loram Maintenance of Way and previously, Colas Rail, where he has been responsible for the operation and maintenance of various On Track Machines, providing contractual, engineering and operational support of both new and existing fleets.
Most recently, Scott was leading the introduction of the Robel 69.70/4-UK Mobile Maintenance Train fleet into service on behalf of Colas Rail, from working with the OEM, through to bringing the fleet into revenue earning service. During this period, he also represented Colas Rail for Loram USA on the build of the most recent C44XX fleet of rail grinding machines. Prior to this, Scott managed the entire Network Rail High Output OTM fleet of 09/3X and USP 5000 machines.
Scott’s career has provided exposure to many areas of semi-automatic permanent-way rehabilitation including Tamping, Regulating, Grinding, High Output Ballast Cleaning and automated Track Renewal Systems. He has worked globally on various railway projects including projects in America, Malaysia, France, Germany and Austria with equipment manufactured by suppliers such as Loram, Plasser & Theurer, Framafer, Robel, Matisa and Speno.
Scott will be working as a Senior Consultant & OTM Service Leader with Ricardo Rail.
