Our speakers:

Alzbeta Helienik

Alžbeta has 25 years’ experience in both the rail and cyber security industries. In 2013, she introduced cyber security at the Research Platform of the European Commission, which evolved into the working group for the upcoming CENELEC standard in Cyber Security for Railways.

She advises rail sector clients on cyber security requirements and conducts threat and risk assessments on their behalf. Previous experience includes Project Manager for large railway digital infrastructure projects in Europe, Professional Lead in delivering Security and Business process expertise to Network Rail, and undertaking threat and risk assessment analysis for Bombardier’s Aventra platform.

Michel van den Braak

Michel is a consultant who specialises in providing technical support and analysis on rolling stock improvement programmes. These include the integration of new systems to extract and analyse train diagnostics and the use of data to optimise maintenance programmes.

Michel also works with rail clients to enhance the protection of their networks, including the implementation of systems like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), file integrity monitoring and network penetration testing.
