Ecology support for railway projects
Wherever railways are built or expanded there is the potential for conservation conflict.
Our global environmental teams can support you in meeting your environmental responsibilities and still secure the economic benefits of sustainable railway development.
Ricardo’s ecology team regularly works closely with rail project teams and government agencies to provide ecological advice to support strategic plans, planning applications, consent from statutory bodies, post-planning site works and wildlife conservation.
Our in-house teams cover both aquatic and terrestrial ecology and are also specialists in providing pollution prevention and incident advice through the National Chemical Emergency Centre (part of Ricardo), and post-incident mitigation.
